| SL Update... the horror... |
Well, the Lindens managed to one up themselves once again as for what they could do to make SL worse. The new update added voice, which is shiny and all, but they also horribly disfigured the interface... you will notice now, that Chat History, IMs and your friend list are now all in the same window :O
Of course you can detach chat history like any other IM, but it's still a pain in the ass, and utterly unneeded... I mean, if they really needed room on the bottom, why not get rid of the Fly button? I mean, does anyone actually use that? I mean, I don't know about anyone else, but... about 12 seconds into signing up, when I discovered I could hit 'F' and fly... that Fly button down there has never been pressed.
I mean... I guess it has use in people with broken 'F' buttons...
Anyway, in other news I finally finished Half-Blood Prince and am actually going to start reading Deathly Hallows. Hopefully I'll manage to see Order of the Phoenix while it's still in theaters... I think I still need to see Goblet of Fire actually, I thought I'd seen it, but lately I'm not sure.
And in other news... Midgar still sucks... in fact, I think it's managed to even suck more than before... any thoughts I had of returning are on hold for the moment... I swear, I think every time I think I'm mentally prepared enough to return, something make it even more sickeningly annoying.
*sighs* Anyway... for lack of a better closing...

I utterly despise the new interface, and...when I joined I was a boob who liked shiny buttons so I never figured out the F = fly thing until...right...now...XD!
I'm almost done reading the Deathly hallows. so far it's caused me indigestion. that's about it, still need to go see the new movie when i'm not being a lazy bishtard.
As for Midgar, haveing experienced the same "I go and the idiots and god-modders rein supreme when I get back", Every RP will have that at different angles, it doesn't matter what genere it is, it's usually a matter of time, the first RP I was in, Hidden grass, when it became like that it died only a few months afterwards,
Now Midgar is like that giant wheel with spikes I mentioned with a bunch of corpses and mangled children's bodies and zombies walking around on it, eventually it's going to HAVE to stop rolling, and fall over. that will be when the donations stop,
gradually as the RP experience declines due to random higher up stupidity, and a large percentage of the terrible RPer's there it will fall sadly, what goes up must come down, and unless your supreme god I doubt that there is a RP that can hold it's ground for two years solid without a firm base and dedicated around the clock people that work together instead of against each other.
But remember,
we will always have the memories of the good times with the ol corruption gang even beyond there, before everything at Midgar got corrupted. XD
